The Brief

Aesop approached KNOT with a specific question: how do we show up on RED without becoming a beauty brand? The answer was an editorial channel — longform posts, typographic covers, no sales cues — running in parallel to the brand's print voice.

We built a content system rooted in Aesop's existing editorial library, translated and adapted with our in-house copywriters, and commissioned three Chinese-speaking creators to collaborate on launch posts. The point of view was deliberately cultural, not commercial.
